Some simple steps to a One Day Detox

A detox can help cleanse our body of the not-so-healthy foods and drinks previously consuming.
 
Below is an example of one day detox plan. It includes food, drinks and exercise. Actually, there are many great options for detox drinks and foods, so you can look around if below does not work for you.
 
Morning
Drinking a detox tea in the morning will help begin the cleansing process. Make a delicious homemade tea with spices like ginger.
Or you may drink apple cider vinegar in the morning with a glass of water. Apple cider vinegar is a liver and lymphatic tonic which can help detox our body.  It helps balance the body’s pH and stimulates cardiovascular stimulation, bowel motility and lymphatic drainage.
Try a light morning fitness routine like yoga to get blood flowing.
Drinking a smoothie full of fruits and vegetables will provide body with vitamins, minerals and other nutrients.
 
Afternoon
Eating a salad for lunch packed with low-sugar fruits and/or vegetables will help feel satisfied while giving our body nutrients. An example of such is kale and blueberry salad.
If an afternoon slump hits, skip the coffee and opt for green tea instead. If needed, add an apple or a serving of almonds.
 
Evening
A simple soup full of detoxifying vegetables is all needed.
 
All Day Reminders
Try to get up every hour and walk around for at least a few minutes, and stretch whenever possible to keep blood flowing. This is especially important if you work an office job or live a fairly sedentary lifestyle.
Drink a glass of water (or more) every hour. Add lemon and/or other fruits and vegetables for added benefit.
Try to get 7-9 hours of sleep. This will help body recover from the day and prepare for what comes next.
